Tara Kowasic
After attending the University of Virginia for undergrad, and receiving her Masters from Virginia Commonwealth University, Tara quickly realized her love for education, and her passion for working with others. As someone who owned her first business at the age of 19, Tara has always been a self motivated and driven individual, always looking for ways to propel herself forward. She found her first true passion working with an educational travel company, which allowed her the opportunity to travel, help students, and meet educators from all over the world.
When the world found itself turned upside down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and academic travel halted, Tara found herself exploring other ways to impact people’s lives, and entered into the world of real estate. As a licensed professional, she still does what she loves, and gets the opportunity to help others in a unique, hands-on and rewarding environment. Her passion for education is what drives her forward in real estate- wanting to help buyers and sellers understand the market, and move through the transaction feeling like they have a great understanding of the process. Her goal is to educate and enlighten, helping her clients ease their way through what can be often seen as a difficult process.
In her free time, Tara loves spending time with her wife, Melissa, going on hikes and taking her dog, Stella on walks. She looks forward to helping you and your family find your next home in the 757, and can’t wait to make her mark on this industry!
